Senior Marketing Manager – Website Manager with Front end development experience

The Senior Marketing Manager is an opportunity for an ambitious marketer to join a dynamic business with high growth ambitions.

We are seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented and customer-obsessed Senior Marketing Manager to own our web storefront performance, optimization and content management across the global web properties.

Reporting to the Global Head of Voice Marketing Operations, this is an exciting role for the right candidate who enjoys pushing against the status quo. As a key member of the Global Voice Marketing team, this position will shape & drive our B2C and B2B Voice cloud services marketing initiatives across multiple channels and geographies.

Headquartered in Los Angeles California, j2 Global® have developed a clear strategy to grow the voice business through aggressive organic and non-organic growth and as Senior Marketing Manager; you will play a crucial role helping the business achieve this.

 Role & Responsibilities:

Managing a team of one, you will lead the development and management of current and future product storefronts (websites), including the management and implementation of online content updates, user experience, SEO, development of landing pages to support marketing campaign activity and on-page optimizations to maximize conversion rate.

Performance – Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

  • Own and drive improvements to all on-site KPI’s (such as funnel conversion, speed, Bounce Rate and Revenue) by developing targeted strategies with product marketing, product management and engineering to deliver a site optimization roadmap to drive continual improvements.
  • Develop and own a website testing/conversion rate optimization (CRO) and customer experience (CX) plan for all websites collaborating with product marketing, acquisition & retention marketing, product management UX, engineering and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with business data analyst to create a web analytics dashboards and reports that drive useful insights which deliver actionable intelligence informing campaign development, media planning, content development and sales funnel optimization.
  • Campaign tracking pixels/ tagging implementation & management to support campaign reporting, ensuring consistency of approach across all website.
  • Optimize marketing performance through A/B and multivariate testing.

Content Management – front end web development

  • Utilizing our CMS (Sitefinity) ensure all website content is up to date, accurate, tracked and correctly displayed, across all web properties and languages – manage upload, schedule, and maintain content (text, images, graphics, videos).
  • Manage the build and publishing of new content, landing pages and new site pages; including design of wire-frames and translating these into high-quality code (JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS) to support delivery of content, promotions and campaigns to all web properties.
  • Ensure sites and landing pages are optimised as landing destination for all marketing activity – develop and implement content road map which presents target market with engaging relevant content ensuring consistency of approach across all website.
  • Drive improvements to our CMS working with the Engineering team, including streamlining workflow, template creation and introducing automations where possible.

Search Engine Optimisation - SEO

  • Collaborate with the Campaign Acquisition and retention team to develop, implement and maintain the SEO strategy including applying SEO best practice and utilising keyword research tools and metadata optimisation to ensure the website is fully optimised for natural search to drive SEO conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Campaign Acquisition and retention team to develop and manage on-site content and link building strategy to create content that is optimized for search engine marketing and own implementation of SEO.
  • Use insights from continual testing, customer data, and industry best practices to optimise marketing communications to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Set clear performance goals to achieve quarterly and annual goals through online and offline marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX and Engineering to deliver site optimization roadmap.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, engineering, Customer Care, sales, operations, and creative teams.

Job Requirements and Experience:

Candidates must be experienced marketers with a proven track record of success. Interested candidates should possess:

  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing with a core focus on all aspect of the Digital marketing activity.
  • Minimum of 3+ years working on successful website optimisation for ecommerce/ SaaS business.
  • Experience with CMS ideally sitefinity.
  • Excellent practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent practical experience in analyzing web page performance, designing and building wireframes to illustrate improvements and translating this into responsive web pages.
  • Experience analyzing website traffic using Google Analytics and using Google Tag Manager to collect data.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Comfortable with large volumes of data - able to spot insight and direct action quickly.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, coaching and retaining a high-performing results driven team.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and performance.
  • Language skills (French, German and Spanish) and experience managing global or pan-European marketing initiatives is a plus.
