ZMG is looking for a Senior Product Manager to manage and grow the Mashable brand.  The Product team is a collection of product managers and designers that are both analytical and creative. We believe that investing in the customer experience is the key to growing our business.  As a product manager, you will work alongside our designers, engineers and stakeholders to ideate, prototype, build, and deliver a best-in-class user experience. You will use marketing channels like SEO, SEM, social and email to grow acquisition, adoption, and improve retention of our customers.


  • Manage the roadmap for Mashable to develop engaging and scalable experiences

  • Solve complex problems with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers 

  • Lead and align across our stakeholders, including operations, marketing, audience growth, and sales partners to drive a shared vision

  • Hypothesize, test, and optimize the customer experience lifecycle from acquisition through re-engagement 

  • Maintain effective and thorough communication throughout development with both the project team and stakeholders to maintain product and strategy alignment

  • Clearly articulate and communicate the vision, roadmap and key decisions to all levels and departments of our division, offering insight into what is being worked on

  • Develop an understanding of users by contributing to research, data analysis, customer interviews, and usability testing


  • 4 years of related work experience in revenue/advertising focused Product Management

  • Strong UX/UI background

  • Experience working closely with stakeholders, designers and developers

  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Intellectual curiosity, passion for learning technology

  • The ability to dive right into a big project and manage it from start to finish.

  • Willingness to get your hands dirty; egos need not apply

  • CMS and/or affiliate revenue experience a plus
