General Purpose 

The Account Executive role is responsible for growing our Mid Market market share through securing new accounts, driving win-back customers, and growing existing customers within an assigned territory.  Travel requirement = 50%.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage and close Mid Market new business through new logo acquisition, customer win-back, and existing strategic customer expansion within an assigned territory
  • Responsible for product demonstrations, coordinating sales on-site visits and all mid-market prospect inquiries/communication  
  • Effective territory planning and territory management for Mid Market accounts to ensure monthly sales and usage quotas are met/exceeded 
  • Trusted advisor to prospects and existing clients
  • Owns full sales cycle including prospecting, developing/managing pipeline, and closing sales
  • Works collaboratively with the territory team to identify opportunities, remove friction and drive success
  • Meet/exceed monthly sales/usage quotas
  • Adherence to pipeline management guidelines/expectations
  • Accurately forecast and report monthly, quarterly and annual sales, usage, activities, and pipeline to management on a timely basis 
  • Coordinate/collaborate with Account Manager on renewals on large strategic accounts
  • Utilize Salesforce to accurately document and monitor all activities
  • Familiar with the healthcare market trends as well as healthcare industry as a whole


Supervision

  • No direct reports.

Job Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes 
  • Demonstrated success in owning full-cycle sales for new business including prospecting, pipeline/opportunity management, and closing
  • Desire and skilled ability to develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with high-level executives and decision-makers over long periods of time. 
  • Advanced ability to communicate and negotiate professionally and effectively, in-person, over the phone, and in writing.
  • Experience presenting to individuals, groups, and executives in-person and over the phone/email/Internet.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team. 
  • People-oriented, solution-oriented, goal/results-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in using the Internet, MS Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and CRMs (Salesforce)
  • Ability to travel to clients and/or tradeshow as required (50%).

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience required. 
  • 5+ years of current sales experience or equivalent where a significant portion of compensation is tied to sales/ quota attainment, preferably in the healthcare and/or recruitment/advertising markets.
  • Recent experience with contract execution with executive-level decision-makers.

Working Environment/Physical Activities

Office environment; 50% travel required.
