The Everyday Health Professional team is looking for someone to join our team who understands our business, our customers, and technology, as well as how it all comes together to drive our growth. We need a product person who builds awesome web and mobile products that resonate with users.

You have experience at a media company or online content publisher. You are highly motivated to explore, develop and launch new products that will help broaden and engage our audience. You love partnering and working with others, and you figure out ways to collaborate with cross-functional teams because you understand the importance of having a team behind you. You are thoughtful and well-spoken. When you need to convince stakeholders that your idea is the idea to fund, you understand the importance of backing it with data and creating a compelling story.

You are analytical and strategic in the way you solve problems. You can easily jump between day-to-day tactics and long-term vision building. You are passionate about creating the best possible user experience for our users and are able to balance the needs of those users with the goals of the business.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand and analyze user needs through data analysis, user studies and market research
  • Help define product vision and strategy, and build consensus among multiple teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development
  • Own and drive individual products, features and initiatives (small and large) through full lifecycle -- from ideation to launch, then nurturing it through continued iteration and growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (editorial, technology, design, sales, marketing and project management) to help create the product roadmap, business and functional requirements, high level wireframes and prototypes
  • Lead day-to-day product development efforts with technology and project management team using Agile methodologies


  • 3-5 years of product experience within online media or at an online content publisher
  • Experience and demonstrable achievements in driving engagement through content and presentation
  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and also make things happen on your own
  • Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences
  • Advanced knowledge in working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights
  • Experience with user metrics tools including Google Analytics desired
  • Detail and results oriented, able to write detailed specs and analyze data to justify product decisions and apply key learnings
  • A strong communicator with great written and verbal skills
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the online media space
  • Experience within the physician, pharma or healthcare space a very strong plus
