RetailMeNot seeks an experienced Agile project-driver to lead teams in releasing the most valuable features, and iterating and continually improving mobile web and app experiences. We need a dynamic relationship-builder and cross-team collaboration enthusiast, with direct experience in setting up an effective Project Management Office.

Scrum Master/Coach/Mentor for multiple product and engineering teams, delivering a full product evolution, two weeks at a time. Should be a natural at guiding and protecting team’s sprint commitments, keeping all eyes on the business prize. Will coordinate across 8-10 development teams to improve efficiencies, ensure quality code and deliver what RMN customers want. Our team embraces the philosophy: Can we do better? Always.

  • Agile Coach for multiple product and engineering teams
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums, cross-team retrospectives, and other cross-team gatherings
  • Remove and resolve impediments, risks and dependencies across teams
  • Collaborate with Developers, QA, UI/UX, Content and Product Management to establish effective processes with predictable output
  • Provide status updates and reporting on weekly basis
  • Organize and lead Release Planning on a quarterly basis
  • Monitor and track team roadmaps and landmarks
  • Manage team JIRA boards, Confluence sites, calendars, mailing lists and chat rooms
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that cross-team projects are delivered on-time, within scope
  • Ensure team resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress across teams
  • Manage changes to the product roadmap scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meeting management mentorship, including teaching others scheduling and note-taking best practices
  • Implement digestible project status template, and push updates to Leadership
  • Proven 5-7 years working experience in project management in the information technology sector
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that requires frequent shifts in focus
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently and take initiative to solve problems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically, creatively, and judiciously
  • Attention to detail
  • A technical background is a plus, with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Deep understanding of JIRA and Confluence
  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices; Agile certification a plus
