BabyCenter & What to Expect, the world’s best-known pregnancy and parenting brands with over 58 Million users worldwide, are seeking a Project Manager for an immediate opening. This is an opportunity for someone who is motivated to deliver world-class digital products to millions of parents during the most important time in their lives. 

This role has the dual opportunity to lead agile technology projects and drive critical business initiatives that involve multiple teams/departments. This Project Manager will be responsible for managing the development process across BabyCenter and What to Expect platforms and properties. This individual will be responsible for coordinating development resources, prioritizing and scheduling feature implementation and working with stakeholders across the organization. This individual must possess the ability to effectively manage each piece of the software development life cycle for multiple applications across multiple platforms. 

This is a permanent full-time position with plenty of opportunity to grow and offers competitive salary and benefits. 

Currently this role is set to a remote location with possible travel to either coast (New York City / San Francisco) 

What You'll Do:  

  • Manage timelines, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements, design and delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
  • Actively monitor project risks, scope, and dependencies, and help remove identified roadblocks 
  • Understand and implement agile methodologies including SCRUM and Kanban
  • Work with team members to continually improve velocity and quality
  • Liaise with external and internal groups including design/UX, engineering, sales/marketing, and media/advertising partners 
  • Develop project plans for key business initiatives that track progress, deliver milestones on time, and keep team members up-to-date 

What You'll Bring:  

  • 2+ years of project management experience in the digital media industry
  • Experience bringing medium-to-large scale projects through the full software development life cycle using Agile methodologies 
  • Experience with Agile Development techniques preferred (XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, and familiarity interfacing with sales, marketing, design, and other non-technical stakeholders 
  • Leadership, team management, relationship building, organization, planning and interpersonal skills 
  • Self-motivated, creative, confident, and energetic personality 
  • Excellent business and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience using modern project management and agile tools: Google Meet, Docs, Sheets and Slides; Smartsheets; JIRA; Confluence; Trello; Monday; Asana
  • BS degree is preferred 
  • Certified Scrum Master a +
