Health eCareers is hiring! We are looking for a Mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about what they’ve chosen to do for a living. This position is located in our fast paced, growing offices in Denver, Colorado's DTC (Denver Tech Center). It is not a telecommuting position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics or a related area
  • 3+ years experience in software development life cycle and software testing experience. Agile/Scrum a plus.
  • 2 years coding experience as a developer or test developer with a desire for more. Working knowledge of Angular and .NET/.NET Core enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes with the ability to analyze and elaborate on requirements
  • Good understanding of SQL, HTML, CSS, JS, C#, Entity Framework, XML, HTTP protocol, Shell scripting, browser debugging tools, and testing RESTful microservices with Postman.
  • Experienced in using various bug tracking, source control and build release tools, like JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, etc.
  • Test automation development experience, both functional automation and performance automation, using open source tools. Selenium experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a willingness and ability to fully own functional areas under test with minimal supervision
  • Organized and process oriented individual with ability to maintain excellent process/testing/build
  • release documentation and reports.
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
Responsibilities:
  • Write and execute manual end-to-end (front end, back end, database, and integrated systems) tests for bugs and large features
  • Write clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and bug reports
  • Be a subject matter expert in at least one of our applications
  • Work with the development and product teams on any test failures and bugs found
  • Collaborate with other QA team members, development and product Teams
  • Focus on best practices and best ways to write tests
  • Learn about and perform exploratory testing on and throughout our applications
