Responsibilities

What does that mean exactly?

 

IGN Campaign Manager, Custom Programs (CMCP) will be primarily responsible for executing, monitoring, and reporting on branded and other custom advertising campaigns across IGN and social platforms. They will work closely with the Integrated Marketing, Branded, Sales, Online Advertising Product, and Ad Technology team members to ensure successful implementation and delivery of custom advertising campaigns.

 

The Campaign Manager, Custom Programs will also work cross-departmentally to develop and improve processes and systems to support this role. CMCP will work with Revenue Operations management and engineering teams to identify process improvements and automation for the purpose of minimizing manual process.

 

      Coordinate custom product launches with Sales team

      Independently manage, monitor and optimize custom programs, supporting US-based clients, to ensure complete and accurate fulfillment and revenue recognition

      Manage delivery and campaign pacing across IGN’s primary web site and external platforms, coordinating delivery needs with team members responsible for those platforms.

      Providing detailed analysis and reporting of each campaign, including insights, recommendations, and optimizations, to Sales and Finance teams

      Provide financial reporting to Finance team, coordinating delivery with campaign managers

      Assist Sales and Finance teams with campaign level metrics and performance

      Fulfill inventory requests as necessary; work with inventory / yield team to track availability

      Process orders and change orders as necessary

      Provide feedback to systems team to improve process and reporting automation

      Cultivate positive internal and external relationships, including sales, clients, design and technical teams

Qualifications

What will get you in the door?

·       1+ years working as a Campaign Manager or similar role, preferably in Advertising or Revenue Operations

·       Working knowledge of online ad serving and contract management technologies (Google Ad Manager, Sizmek, Google Analytics, and Salesforce preferred) and online advertising sales in general

·       Familiarity with social media platforms, APIs, and analytics tools, particularly YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

·       General proficiency in Microsoft Office required, especially Excel

·       Ability to analyze data sets and provide recommendation for optimization

·       Strong project management skills with the proven ability to work independently, take full ownership of projects, and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines

·       Ability to break down process, escalate issues and concerns, and work with internal teams to specify tools automation and process improvement

·       Exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills; self-motivated with laser-sharp attention to detail

·       A great attitude and genuine excitement about working in digital advertising operations

·       Being inquisitive, innovative, and interested in how things work

 

It would be extra awesome if you've got…

      Solid understanding of HTML and a general knowledge of JavaScript as they relate to advertising creative and processes

      A passion for video games, geeky entertainment, and the gaming or entertainment industries as whole.

      A desire to adapt and learn about new social and video platforms as the media marketplace evolves.
