The successful candidate for our Director, Sales Engineering position will be a highly skilled, technically savvy and customer-oriented professional who excels at problem solving and building relationships.  The Director will be instrumental at assuring prospects that our implementation of j2 Cloud Fax Technology will be a well-managed and successful project

You are an experienced strategist, business writer and relationship manager with a facility for delivering clear, fast, powerful plans, with a vision for how to connect key business systems and communication channels internally and externally. You’ll need to be entrepreneurial and opportunistic, identifying out-of-the box avenues for our projects, leveraging your relationships internally and externally.

You will work across the organization globally; partnering with sales and technology leaders, creative to ensure solution delivery is coordinated across the organization and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This is a highly visible role that will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and will have two direct reports.  This position is located on our Hollywood Office.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • Previous experience working in a corporate role within SaaS, Technology, and/or Healthcare industries a strong plus
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical implementation role or equivalent consulting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships across diverse internal teams
  • You will have demonstrated experience with crisis and issues management
  • Ability to work independently, to take initiative, drive as well as function effectively in a team environment
  • Must have a collaborative approach to working with the ability to interact and influence employees at all levels, including senior executives
  • Strong communication skills are essential

  • Powerful interpersonal skills; experience in a relationship-based position that requires engaging with many stakeholders and requires effective communication skills to influence outcomes
  • Must have confident and effective project management skills
