Associate Project Manager supports our PMO organization in gathering information and resources to assist in Project implementation.  The main duties would be maintain work schedules and meetings for the PMO team.  Organizing and participating in meetings to help ensure all deadlines for certain project or task are met.  

The ideal candidate will be communicative, enthusiastic,  and eager to take on responsibility and learn new skills.  PMO is working in a fast-paced organization and participating in a creative, and teamwork-oriented environment.  PMO organization has huge growth opportunity, we are looking for those who want to grow the PMO team for the long term in a dynamic, service-oriented technical environment.  

Primary Duties Include:

  • Fulfill various duties as assigned by the PMO team.
  • Work closely with Project/Program Managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects.
  • Manage resource allocations, forecast revenue recognition, track project status, and provide weekly status reports for assigned projects.
  • Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and help develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.  
  • Manage project-related administrative task by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly documented and stored.  
  • Coordinate with all team members to keep workflow and updates on track.

  • Assist PMO Director with project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, notes, meeting minutes, chats and emails.
  • Assist PMO Director with communicating with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with diverse organizational teams.
  • Must be flexible, organized, detail-oriented and able to change direction on short notice and be a team player.
  • Ability to work on multiple programs & projects with program/project manager guidance.  
  • Quick leaner with ability to dive into project coordination activities as and when needed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or higher from college or technical school or 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • A strong team player who is collaborative, is optimistic and has a can-do attitude.
  • Prior training/experience with Agile/Scrum is preferred
  • Prior experience working in a PMO team preferred
  • Versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint for various needs in reporting
  • MUST HAVE:  Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to the different levels of the organization in Business and Technical areas.   
  • Technical project knowledge/experience is preferred
