The Opportunity

Health eCareers is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst to join its accounting team. This individual will be responsible for operating the collections process for the Health eCareers business unit of Everyday Health’s Professional division. The individual will report directly to the Global Collections Manager of Everyday Health Group.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the collections portfolio for the Health eCareers subsidiary, to include generating monthly statements, weekly aging reports and customer follow ups
  • Manage customer inquiries providing timely, well-researched and accurate responses
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Accounting departments to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Monitor DSO, average days to pay, and other trends to ensure that outstanding A/R is being collected at an acceptable rate
  • Review new orders for accounts on credit hold, ensuring all collection policies are followed
  • Work with outside an collection agency in placing new accounts and monitoring accounts previously placed
  • Process cash receipts daily, ensuring that all entries tie to corporate bank statements


    • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years related collections experience, preferably within a digital media/advertising company
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate Excel skills mandatory
  • Self-motivated, ability to quickly grasp process concepts and attention to detail is a MUST
  • Excellent time and self-management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines required
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Experienced with major ERP and CRM systems, such as NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Seasoned in working with public companies and exposure to Sarbanes Oxley
