Location: New York, San Francisco or remote; this is a remote/office-based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except within Colorado.

The Opportunity

Everyday Health Group’s Pregnancy and Parenting group is seeking a dynamic Business Development and Strategy Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will help us identify, analyze, and execute strategies to drive key growth initiatives. This role will report to the Senior Director, Business Strategy. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and execution of strategic growth opportunities via partnership, M&A, and/or emerging business lines

  • Regularly perform comprehensive assessments of new business opportunities, including financial modeling, to evaluate opportunity size

  • Perform landscape research and stay current on industry trends to surface areas of opportunity 

  • Prepare presentations to distill complex ideas into actionable business strategies 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to further our collective business goals, as well as proactively communicate new opportunities to these stakeholders 

  • Support management of existing partners to maximize performance as measured via KPIs, i.e tracking and reporting on performance, optimizing based on results, invoicing and partner communications

  • Provide recommendations for new project management best practices and processes, and help improve the Business Development team’s operations overall

  • Demonstrate passion and flexibility to contribute to the Business Development team’s responsibilities in multiple capacities as work streams evolve 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years experience in a strategy, business development, or partnerships role

  • Understanding of the media landscape and common digital media revenue streams 

  • Strong business acumen and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment, provide insights, ideas and gain alignment with key stakeholders

  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities effectively and work efficiently in a fast paced environment

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills 

  • Ability to think big-picture and also pay close attention to detail

  • Analytical and data-driven; ability to distill data from many inputs to key points and make recommendations

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
