The KeepltSafe Senior Technical Support Engineer role is a lead technical position in the KeepltSafe backup business. The Senior Technical Support Engineer plays a role in coaching and mentoring other engineers in the team both in terms of their technical skills and their customer and case handling, as well as delivering services to customers and partners directly.

The Senior Technical Support Engineer also plays a role in providing inputs to management on addressing any performance issues, both in terms of staff (i.e. coaching staff to improve their performance), team technical readiness, training requirements and network operations (identifying any operational risks in the business and working with management and network operations to get them addressed).

The Senior Technical Support Engineer fosters a knowledge-sharing environment, both locally and in co-operation with other support centres regionally and globally. You will be expected to take a lead role in creating documentation, deliver workshops to share technical knowledge and best practices, and identify improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will also be involved in pre-sales actvities, advising customers on optimising their backup arrangements and transitioning solutions into the customer's environment.
