The Product Manager, Monetization will be responsible for developing innovative ad solutions that perform, scale, and elegantly solve for a diverse set of business cases across display and affiliate business lines. This person will partner with key stakeholders, including Revenue Operations, Engineering, Consumer Product, and Sales teams to incorporate market demand and requirements into exceptional consumer audience experiences for our brands. You will balance the needs of a direct publisher ad sales, partnership with global brands via affiliate networks, and global programmatic ad executions. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, determine and prioritize target customer, end-user, and internal stakeholder needs
  • Ensure monetization product execution as a partner to the team dedicated to building consumer facing experiences that deliver on brand goals.
  • Develop strategies and execute plans to enable long-vision ad revenue growth that supports a sophisticated business casebook with flexible but simple technology frameworks
  • Own overall metrics: revenue, viewability, ROAS
  • Ensure native and impactful user experiences that serve brand relationships
  • Ensure optimized performance front end ad experiences, coordinating closely with engineering
  • Define and communicate a portion of the product roadmap aligned with company objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis
  • Determine needs, align priorities, deliver to market, measure outcomes, and seek to build upon success. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build ad offerings that scale for a diverse set of owned and operated and partner publishers
  • Ensure appropriate ad performance and consumer research and rapid prototyping. Ensure a valuable, engaging and enjoyable end-user experience
  • Document, validate and prioritize product specifications
  • Lead build vs. buy evaluations for key integrations ensuring we are investing prudently in core competencies and technologies and partnering where more appropriate.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of product experience, ideally in Ad Product, Ad Tech, or Affiliate space
  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement and initiatives 
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, and an embedded drive for results
  • Dedication to quality, accuracy, and 100% accountability
  • Exceptional reporting & analytical skills with ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Sheets as well as basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics and other tools are preferred
