Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Web Marketing is a member of the J2 Global Cloud Services division as a member of the Web/eCommerce Marketing team.  The Senior Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of our Web and SEO strategy, the growth of our organic traffic on multiple web properties, and the tactical implementation of initiatives to increase organic search traffic and new customer acquisition across North America and EMEA regions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about search technology, tech-savvy, resourceful, and ambitious with a high level of curiosity. 


Job Duties:

  • Create a robust SEO strategy for our Web/eCommerce Fax websites to drive user acquisition.
  • On-going audit of our web properties content, links, and crawl accessibility to ensure optimal performance and visibility.
  • Perform market and keyword research, analyze the techniques used by competitors, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, search engine guidelines, and best practices
  • Collaborate with team members to develop content that is on-brand but supportive of SEO strategies.
  • Advise on and build our backlink outreach strategy.
  • Work with our analysts to develop SEO reporting and regularly track search engine growth and optimization opportunities through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
  • Manage ongoing content updates to our websites, including copy, content/resources and SEO, to keep the experience fresh, engaging, and relevant. Assess content effectiveness, and drive alignment between marketing campaign narratives and the website user experience and KPIs.
  • Manage marketing tags and pixels, including overall tracking strategy, implementation, and reporting
  • Continually test and optimize web pages to drive conversions


Job Requirements and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (client or agency side) where you were responsible for SEO and driving revenue growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, a relevant field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience working with sites that have multiple locales and languages (International SEO)
  • Fundamental understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture optimization, site speed considerations, and on-page and off-page optimization.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other well-known industry SEO tools
  • Excellent understanding of HTML/CSS/HTTP/Javascript
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies, and passion to stay abreast of news and trends in SEO and online marketing
  • Experience with BI tools like DOMO, Tableau, Looker is a plus
  • Experience with CMSs like Wordpress and Sitefinity
  • Proficiency in analyzing reports and data to drive strategic recommendations
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and writing/proofreading skills
  • UX/UI for SEO and site performance best practice expertise
  • Use of technology, automation, and AI to meet business needs.
