j2 Global® is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager – Mobile apps to help grow app revenue through our various Cloud Connect brands including eFax®, eVoice®, Line2, MyFax® and more. Ideal candidate will be an ambitious and strategic thinker with experience with SaaS and/or mobile app marketing,development and app store optimization.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the management of Cloud Connect brands mobile apps and driving revenue growth thru new customer acquisition and retention
  • Initiate new marketing strategies and lead cross-functional teams in app design, content and development
  • Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering resources on defining product road map, app release requirements and schedules.
  • Define new acquisition A/B test plans and requirements to optimize signup and upgrade conversions
  • Partner with Ad team to identify new campaign opportunities and requirements
  • Develop and leverage surveys, monitor app store reviews and customer feedback and partner with Customer Service to know our subscribers and identify customer pain points and ongoing ways to improve app user experience, usability, engagement and retention
  • Prepare weekly reporting of app signups, revenue, usage and trends.
  • Define GA requirements and ensure proper tracking of signup funnel conversion and app engagement
  • Research and monitor competitor apps and trends for best practices, new product features, pricing opportunities and new content. Produce strategic recommendations and deliver new marketing initiatives based on findings
  • Develop plans and content for App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve app rankings
  • Maintain App Store requirements, and calendar of all app releases, test plans and content
  • Support Marketing team with various non-app marketing initiatives as needed

Job Requirements and Experience: 

  • 3+ years of mobile app and/or web marketing experience – preferably with SaaS products, with passion for content development and user experience design
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, MBA desired
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and ability to deliver data-driven results, analysis and findings;
  • Proven success and experience with App Store Optimization
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong skills in Excel, Google Analytics, Photoshop a plus.
