Finance Director – Expense

 The VIPRE Security Group is looking for an experienced Finance Director - Expense to lead and drive operating expense and headcount forecasting, planning, analytics and reporting for VIPRE Security Group globally.

The Finance Director - Expense will oversee and lead all of the expense and headcount forecasting, planning, analytics and reporting functions for VIPRE Security Group. The VIPRE Security Group is driving Cybersecurity transformation and shaping the way business gets done. Our revolutionary patented suite of services provides over three million customers worldwide with a more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way of working.

As a very acquisitive company, the Director of Finance - Expense role is pivotal for our business success. The person in this role demonstrates strategic ability in scaling our organization and should have an outstanding strategic mindset with deep knowledge in all matters concerning FP&A and Sales. They will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives are established and in place.

The Director of Finance - Expense is responsible for developing and implementing the business group’s operating expense and headcount business plan, establishing accountability, identifying solutions to resolve problems and fostering a workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential. The Director of Finance - Expense will collaborate with the VIPRE Security Group management team and enable business success through a variety of initiatives. This leader will report to the Vice President of Finance for the VIPRE Security Group.

The Director of Finance - Expense Will

        Manage the annual and monthly operating expense and headcount planning and forecasting process. Participate in VIPRE Security Group long range planning process.

        Develop and manage end-to-end process for headcount management in tandem with HR, Recruiting and Business Operations

        Meet with and reconcile roles across recruiting and business units regularly

        Provide ad-hoc expense analysis to support Business Units, Corporate Development, Business Development, or any corporate initiatives.

        Support functional leadership in NetOps, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, R&D and G&A.

        Lead the consolidated review on expense execution against Budget/Forecast. Play a key role in managing operating expense risk.

        Lead an FP&A team.

        Report to the VP of Finance for the group

 About You

• Proven experience in a senior Finance role in high volume, high growth businesses, prior experience in M&A processes and integration is a major plus

• Working knowledge of Oracle PBCS is a major plus

• 10+ years of Finance/FP&A experience, with at least 5 years recent experience leading the FP&A function

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred

• Broad business and financial understanding and ability to apply to human capital initiatives

High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with hands on day-to-day activities
