J2 is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our ever-growing and dynamic marketing team.

As a marketing specialist for the Martech and Voice business units, you will work closely with multiple team members to provide support on multiple projects across the marketing organization. You will be responsible for supporting the inbound marketing team with content creation, research, etc. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to explore the different avenues of marketing and gain experience working across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a creative, goal-oriented professional, who shares innovative ideas and works with our team to achieve our targets. The ability to work and function in a team environment is a must. 


  • Research market to identify new opportunities for all Martech and Voice brands
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels when creating content and assets
  • Work with management to analyze marketing metrics 
  • Liaise with internal j2 teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Create and distribute new content (Whitepapers, blog posts, website content, video scripts, etc.)
  • Collaborate with freelancers, stakeholders, SMEs and graphic designers to enrich and develop the corporate narrative.
  • Develop high-quality blog and marketing content calendars to deliver across various marketing platforms.
  • Proofread and edit engaging and thoughtful social media & marketing copy


  • Online savvy: The internet should be your first home. Extremely well versed in emerging digital networks and platforms.
  • Marketing acumen: You enjoy marketing and seek an understanding of the science behind advertising and the power of persuasion.
  • Data: You are inquisitive about statistics and data. Familiarity with analytics solutions like Google Analytics is desirable. 
  • Team player: You work well with others, have an open mind and a positive attitude. 



  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, or equivalent education experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience working in a marketing role
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with KPIs and CMS platforms
  • Excellent ability to bring to life a narrative based on market research
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, especially during key seasonal periods
  • Proficient in Google Drive, WordPress, ESP Platforms, etc.
