The Senior Research Analyst is a member of the Research Department and reports to the Group Manager, Population Health and Research Manager. He/she is responsible to organize data and perform themed analysis of program questions; analysis of data from CME program outcomes and research projects. The Senior Research Analyst will support data management for the research team including routine project reporting and customer updates. He/ she will also ensure the grammatical correctness, clarity, appropriate style, in performing all aspects of customer communications.

The Senior Research Analyst possesses specialized skills and experience in enhancing the quality and interpretation of scientific/biomedical documents, findings and relevancy to clinical practice needs. He/she will assist in the development of a comprehensive portfolio of research outcomes that allow the company to identify healthcare barriers, gaps, and trends as well as assess the educational impact of research and education projects. He/she possesses the ability to understand research methodologies and apply statistical analysis to test unique research hypotheses. He/she focuses on strategies that can implement and optimize data collection and storage, and works with the research team to effectively uncover and relay meaningful and measurable stories related to the project outcomes. The Senior Research Analyst reports to the Population Health and Research Manager, although he/she will also work closely with other key personnel involved in the company’s study designs and customer reporting.

Position Duties:

  • Assist in the development of presentations and communications to share interim and final outcomes information with key stakeholders

  • Assist with scientific material development by writing parts of documents, preparing slides, and creating data tables and figures

  • Assess quantitative and qualitative data and outcomes to assist in identifying the impact of the education related to the data

  • Participate in the planning of real-world data collection for quality and clinical measures in research-based and quality improvement educational projects

  • Aggregate and clinically analyze quality metric data to support the reporting needs of specific departments
  • Assist the Group Manager, Population Health and Research in determining and conducting appropriate subanalyses to create more robust data and outcomes reports
  • Perform accurate and quality-driven copy editing and medical editing of materials for the company’s educational impact stories
  • Conduct initial quality assurance testing and periodic testing of online survey instruments to ensure timely and accurate data collection
  • Design analytic models that can be used to assess existing data in different ways to validate educational impact goals
  • Communicate with external research staff and other stakeholders as needed to define data access and retrieval processes and communicate the efficacy of procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or biomedical field; Masters or PhD Academic degree preferred

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and balance several deadlines/production deliverables simultaneously

  • Excellent command of the written English, including all aspects of style, grammar, punctuation, mechanics, and spelling
  • Knowledge of qualitative data analysis, including application of themed analysis and grounded theory analysis approaches
  • Experience in performing quantitative data management and applying data management protocols
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and data sources such as patient charts, EMRs, Registries and others required
  • Prior experience in scientific publication preparation or research
  • Ability to work onsite in the Fort Lauderdale, FL office
