Ziff Media Group’s Monetization team is looking for a highly analytical, passionate, and collaborative Product Marketing Manager with experience driving the success of B2B digital & shopping products and owning go-to-market strategies that support revenue growth. This role will have purview across our publishing and shopping properties which include RetailMeNot, Offers.com, Mashable.com and PCMag. Working collaboratively with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Edit teams throughout the product life cycle, the Product Marketing Manager will show off their skills managing revenue-generating products on our consumer websites and mobile apps while driving innovation gained from shopping behavior insights and new technologies.

The work environment is dynamic and requires a person who is comfortable operating at a fast pace and can collaborate with multiple teams while driving results and executional excellence. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the product offerings that resonate in the marketplace and the sales strategies and processes necessary to set strategy, monitor progress, create messaging and positioning, and drive adoption and engagement of new and existing products.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing (product marketing preferred) 
  • BBA/BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in crafting go-to-market plans and driving them forward
  • Experience gathering and interpreting customer, market, and business intelligence and insights to inform strategy, create personas and optimize product offerings
  • Experience working on sales strategies, packaging and enablement and can effectively arm a Sales org with the knowledge and materials to communicate product value propositions.
  • Experience with consumer focused mobile apps (shopping or commerce app experience a plus) 
  • Experience with location-based products, services or strategies 
  • Experience with in-store ad strategies or technologies a plus 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Tableau, Ad Servers and Salesforce
  • Comfortable working in project management tools like Trello, JIRA, Basecamp or Monday.com

What You’ll do: 

  • Use insights and analyze product suite to inform and influence product and marketing strategies and identify trends and training needs
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence – Know the top current and emerging competitors and how they market, message and promote adoption of new products and features.
  • Product Packaging and Positioning – Define and document product differentiation and messaging; ensure positioning is consistently filtered through all launch materials and sales materials; support Ops team in generating the proper pricing structure and forecasting revenue potential. 
  • Product Launch and Adoption – Coordinate product launches, create and monitor initiatives to drive product adoption and engagement, report results, and provide insights for product, marketing, and sales optimizations. 
  • Root cause and gap analyses – Investigate root causes driving product performance by digging into user and sales data to identify the variables that matter and recommend enhancements and new product features.
