Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $149 million for charity and counting. And we now have over 400,000 subscribers to our Humble Monthly.

 Humble Bundle is hiring a Store Operations Manager to build and lead the Store Operations team. The team is mainly responsible for on-boarding new game titles in the Humble store catalog and coordinating sale promotions. In addition, Store Operations functions to provide for all of our external partners with excellent service and communication. The team helps Humble Bundle continue to offer great games to customers while supporting charity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an expert of all store related promotions and tools for the Humble Store
  • Lead a team of 3-4 store coordinators who are responsible for gathering and producing store products
  • Ensure that the Store Operations team meets deadlines and are able to execute promotions in a protocol accurately
  • Assess pain points and improve on procedural inefficiencies in the store product and promotional pipeline
  • Manage/maintain email inflows and key stock inventory
  • Work with the Technical Operations team to improve existing scripts or create a proposal for new tools
  • Create a plan to resolve any urgent requests that may come in after hours
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to make improvements on tools that would increase operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2+ years team management experience
  • 3-4+ years working in an e-commerce, gaming, or strategy-related role in a startup environment
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and inventory management
  • Able to be extremely organized and have multitasking skills to triage high priority tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with other department managers and key stakeholders
  • Strong curiosity and passion for the company and team’s overall success
  • Great at maintaining a large influx of emails and responding to partners in a prompt manner
  • Familiarity with Python, HTML/CSS, and/or utilizing scripts or a strong desire to learn
  • Solid foundation or knowledge of JIRA, Asana, or other project management software

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to handle changing priorities and utilizing good judgement in critical situations
  • Critical problem solving mindset to better improve the team’s current workload and production procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with partners and peers that are in different time zones
  • Past experience in creating Python scripts or SQL queries
