Health eCareers is looking for a Collections Associate to join its revenue team.  The individual will be responsible for operating the collections process for the Health eCareers business unit of Everyday Health’s Professional division.  The individual will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the collections for Health eCareers including generating monthly statements and customer follow ups
  • Manage customer inquiries by conducting research and providing timely and accurate responses
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Finance etc. to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Daily pulling of bank statements for distribution to team members and cash application
  • Performing the cash applications process
  • Be involved in credit approval process

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Accounting
  • 3-5 years related collections experience, preferably within a digital media company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate Excel skills mandatory
  • Pride in accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST
  • Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines required
  • Self-starter with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Ability to work within multiple major ERP systems (i.e., NetSuite, Salesforce)
  • Experience with high volume billing transactions
  • Exposure and experience in Sarbanes-Oxley a plus
