Ziff Davis B2B, a division of Ziff Davis, a j2 Company, is hiring a Marketing Intern ASAP for our downtown Chicago or San Francisco office. Our Marketing Team is revenue-focused and aligned with sales; this internship will provide a broad range of experiences and exposure to revenue generating strategy and tactics across multiple business units, brands and internal stakeholders.

The Marketing Intern will assist the ZD B2B Marketing Team in coordinating and implementing programs and tasks to provide sales support and enablement, and create brand awareness

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Digital marketing and help with SEO and social efforts
  • Setting up and maintaining podcast/YouTube channel
  • Navigating and maintaining marketing automation tool (Hubspot)
  • Email scheduling and execution
  • sales presentation decks (creation and customization)
  • sales and marketing collateral (one sheeters, sales slicks, event signage)
  • client campaign success reports
  • competitor intelligence reporting and analysis
  • track, assess and report on value of marketing campaigns
  • assist with execution of and analytics from client satisfaction surveys
  • coordinate sales events including conference/networking/market visit prep and ROI tracking
  • completion of various other administrative tasks to support sales and marketing efforts
  • assist with lead funnel management and lead distribution


  • College student or college graduate with an emphasis in performance marketing, advertising, sales, branding or public relations. MBA /graduate student preferred.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Fresh perspective, innovative ideas and initiative to readily share these with the team.
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment with competing projects and deadlines.
  • Skills and knowledge of marketing automation tool,(Hubspot a plus)
  • Ability to set up and maintain digital sites, specifically as it pertains to podcasts and webinars
  • Good research and problem-solving skills.
  • Very strong computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with an ability to learn other marketing and sales automation programs (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Quip). Strong background in computer science a pus.
  • Professionalism, candor, good sense of humor.
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills as well as an acute attention to
  • Experience with demand generation, lead generation, content strategy, social media, highly preferred.
