Experience, a great reel, and management skills will get you in the door. You see the world in camera resolutions, lighting, editing possibilities, and performance quality. Every detail matters. As a bonus, you love things like Star Wars, Zelda, iPhones, Game of Thrones and Grand Theft Auto. IGN is looking for "The One" -- a Video Production Manager who can oversee all aspects of our shows, workflows, and producers.

What does that mean exactly?

        Ensure IGN's production quality is competitive and always evolving

        Build and maintain sets, studio productions, and remote live events

        Work with producers to refine workflows and develop best practices

        Manage a daily calendar of projects and deadlines

        Work closely with content creators and producers to create best-in-class video across a broad range of topics


What will get you in the door?

        5-10 years of Production experience

        Strong knowledge of cameras, workflows, editing

        Experience managing a team 

        Superior communication skills

        Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team environment

        You've got a positive, problem-solving attitude 

        Knowledge of and experience with digital distribution platforms like YT, Twitch, Facebook and web publishing is a must

It would be extra awesome if:

        You love what IGN covers (but not required)

        You have a strong knowledge of NLEs: Avid, Premiere, and respective plug-ins

        You've had experience as a cinematographer and/or director

        Understanding of Internet trends, SEO principles, etc. 

        Have handled production at fast-paced Internet or TV networks
