Client Success Manager

Who we are:  Are you an engaging leader that provides guidance, direction and leadership to a team of 2-4 team members and maintain direct responsibility for 1-3 key clients?   We just might have a position for you! Spiceworks Ziff Davis is on the hunt for an experienced Client Success Manager to embark on the operational process of establishing and implementing specific responsibilities for each role on your team (Sr. CSS, CSS & Campaign Coordinator).

What will be your responsibilities? 

  • Give direction and ensure individual goals and expectations are clear and each team member’s activity is aligned with success
  • Drive client campaign outcomes, internal tool launch, everything we do has a desired outcome. The Client Success Manager is goal-oriented and helps the team avoid distraction and overcome obstacles that put outcomes at risk
  • As a Cross-team Bridge Builder, you deliver successful campaigns for our clients often involving multiple internal teams working together seamlessly. The CSM understands how each function works and coordinates with leaders from other teams to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor client health of team campaigns, post booked status and communicate with corresponding leaders on escalations
  • Clear and effective communication is an essential part of the CSM’s role. Relaying information between the team and company leaders as well as cross-departmental communication is key to keeping everyone informed and aligned in real-time.
  • Effective delegation and coordination of team efforts, including direction and prioritization of the Client Coordinator’s day-to-day responsibilities
  • Serve as escalation point and sounding board for client issues

 What does it take to do this job?

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or a minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience in client facing, account management, client services, or customer success role.
  • Experience in account management and managing B2B relationships
  • Strong Client Management skills including soft skills, strategic thinking, and active listening
  • Ad Agency experience preferred (Digital Ad or Media Agencies)
  • Passion for online advertising. You are eager to take your previous experience and apply it at Spiceworks Ziff Davis (SWZD)

  • Experience analyzing data from multiple sources and understanding how to use that information to improve campaign performance and secure renewals
  • Solid understanding of online advertising standards, tools, and best practices.

  • A command of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with or similar CRM system is preferred
