Title: Paid Media Specialist- Voice / Communications


J2 is looking for an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join our global marketing team.  


As the Paid Media Specialist for our Communications division, you will join a diverse marketing team. You will manage performance marketing campaigns for the Communications business unit. You will be responsible for owning all paid search duties including keyword research, forecasting, campaign building, tracking & optimization, as well as deliver compelling analysis to internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our SEM and mobile acquisition agency and hold them accountable on day to day execution and attend weekly review meetings with other stakeholders. 


The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, is passionate about developing insights from data, and is highly organized.  The ability to work and function in a team environment is a must. Will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Experience in managing a multi-million dollar advertising portfolio.
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Effectively communicate key business health metrics, including campaign performance, ROI, traffic, and test results to key cross-functional stakeholders
  • Take initiative to streamline processes, find opportunities through exploratory data analysis, and think creatively to contribute value in ambiguous and unstructured environments
  • Work closely with the merchandising lead and business intelligence team to optimize ROI

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience with a track record of success managing profitable SEM campaigns across Google, Bing. 
  • Experience in managing paid mobile acquisition campaigns on Apple Search Ads and Google Universal App Campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, related field or equivalent
  • Experience with automated bidding strategies on Google 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to derive actionable insights
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally  
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, especially during key seasonal periods
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, and similar analytical tools
  • Experience with bid management tools 
  • Experience with website analytics/reporting tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Tableau)
