The VIPRE Security Group is looking for an experienced Head of HR to lead and drive Human Resources programs, practices, processes and policy for VIPRE’s operations in the Americas.

The Head of HR, Americas will oversee and lead all HR programs and practices for our VIPRE Security Group for the Americas. The VIPRE Security Group is driving Cybersecurity transformation and shaping the way business gets done. Our revolutionary patented suite of services provides over three million customers worldwide with a more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way of working.The ideal candidate will have a huge impact on our business group, including organizational development, employee relations, employee engagement, satisfaction and performance management. This role will partner with our International Director of HR for all business group initiatives as they serve as the primary evangelists of our culture, working directly with our most important asset, our employees. 

As a very acquisitive company, the Head of HR, Americas role is pivotal for our business success. The person in this role demonstrates strategic ability in scaling our organization and should have an outstanding strategic mindset with deep knowledge in all matters concerning HR and the employee life cycle. They will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives are established and in place.  

The Head of HR, Americas is responsible for developing and implementing the business group’s talent and culture strategy, human resources business plan, establishing accountability, identifying solutions to resolve problems and fostering a workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential. The Head of HR, Americas will collaborate with the VIPRE Security Group management team and enable business success through a variety of initiatives. This leader will report to the Group President for the VIPRE Security Group.

The Head of HR, Americas will:

HR Foundation

  • Provide leadership and expertise for your Business Group for the full scope of Human Resource functions including organizational effectiveness and change, talent acquisition & management, organizational learning and development, performance management, compensation and labor compliance
  • Provide employee relations support to managers/supervisors and employees to ensure complaints, discipline, performance management and corrective action procedures are handled in a fair, consistent and legally compliant manner
  • Conduct investigations in response to employee allegations or management inquiries, partnering with our Legal Team to manage risk and ensure compliance
  • Effectively and strategically manage HR Business Group budget
  • Support Business Group level M&A activity – both in assessing targets, evaluating cultural alignment, and ensuring smooth implementation and harmonization

Business Partnership

  • Leverage deep understanding of the business to translate business plans into clear business-focused talent, engagement and organization strategies that achieve business outcomes
  • Partner with and advise our managers on people & culture strategy and decisions including team dynamics, design, development, and compensation
  • Actively engage with business group leaders to ensure organization effectiveness and optimal
    organization design
  • Develop and lead a strong, high performing HR Business Partners function that has a deep connection to the business and drives/creates tangible business value

Culture & Performance

  • Manage the strategy and programs that support employee engagement, driven by data from our employee engagement survey, exit surveys, people analytics, etc.
  • Be a cultural champion, both as a role model and in leading your team and cross-company initiatives to help us scale and strengthen our culture as we grow
  • Help to conceive and execute Diversity & Inclusion initiatives that makes our company a better place for everybody to work

Talent

  • Drive the Americas recruiting efforts to continue to build pipelines and attract talent 
  • Drive the Business Group talent agenda and provide clear leadership on talent management – including assessing, developing, coaching and mentoring critical executive talent 
  • Partner with executives on senior level hiring and reward decisions

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role in high volume, high growth businesses, prior experience in M&A processes and integration is a major plus
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years recent experience leading the human resources function
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge about local and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations
  • Broad business and financial understanding and ability to apply to human capital initiatives
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with hands on day-to-day activities
  • Assertive and persuasive with sound judgment
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment etc.)
  • Demonstrated process capabilities and results, metrics-driven
  • An excellent connector who collaborates, problem solves, and can help celebrate wins while learning from mistakes and always keeping the team in mind
  • A solid track record of influencing senior business leaders while demonstrating excellent decision quality
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Experience with Agile Operating Model preferred or seeking leader who has experience supporting an organization on Agile operating principles.
  • Willing to travel when required
