The Partner Account Specialist will be responsible for the account management of a set of FuseMail key channel partners and the recruitment of other agreed target partners.

This role involves personally creating and building partner relationships in order to identify and close new business and renewal opportunities within the channel. You will work and report to the Channel Manager to plan and implement a comprehensive channel development and management program.

This position is office based in Keele, Staffordshire. 


Key Responsibilities

  • To exceed monthly, quarterly and annual channel profit targets.
  • You will be the primary contact for our channel partners, plus some new prospective partners for daily required activities.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts.
  • Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features and competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate.
  • Channel partner sales and process training.
  • Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of each Channel Partner’s performance following monthly/quarterly review meetings.
  • Create and execute a partner business plan focused on demand creation, sales growth and partner sales development.
  • Aid in developing monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that will result in increasing the Channel Partner monthly bookings.
  • Travel where necessary to partner events/meetings to represent FuseMail, and or present our solutions to both partners and end user customers of partners.
  • On-boarding process of new Channel Partners.
  • Building and maintaining a constant accurate pipeline.
  • Maintain and improve partner satisfaction.
  • Management of sales CRM tool ensuring it is always kept up to date.
  • Produce weekly accurate forecasting.
  • Proactively work with partners to develop and close new business opportunities.
  • Work with FuseMail Marketing Team to ensure that partners use marketing resources appropriately.
  • Work with the Channel Manager to:
  • Evolve the current channel partner program management strategy to develop and improve it as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all opportunities are appropriately logged and followed up and managed using the CRM.
  • Provide reports and forecasts as appropriate to ensure that the Channel Manager is aware of all opportunities within partners so that they can help you prioritise and respond to opportunities appropriately.
  • Ensure that you use these processes and systems in a thorough and consistent manner.
  • All other reasonable activities and travel as requested by the company.

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • 3+ years of channel experience
  • Ability to build close working relationships with channel partners
  • Friendly, professional and approachable phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Highly organised and adaptable individual
