Ziff Media Group is looking for a Credit Card Copy Editor for our credit card comparison site, The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, a background in copy editing, writing and editing and the ability to prioritize tasks under multiple deadlines.

As the Credit Card Copy Editor for, you will report to the Content Manager. You will respond to site compliance requests, manage routine site updates and work with the team to perform content maintenance and production duties for and other Ziff Media Group brands.

  • Work with the team to ensure Credit Cards Explained meets credit card compliance rules and deadlines. This includes responding to specific compliance requests, scheduled site updates and routine site audits.
  • Develop an understanding of compliance rules and regulations and how they impact site content. When changes are announced, identify and update existing site content (card offers, card reviews, card roundups) for accuracy and context.
  • Respond to and prioritize mission critical deadlines, completing compliance tasks on time and accurately.
  • Communicate compliance requests and deadlines with stakeholders across departments and divisions. Review updates for accuracy and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines.
  • Build strong subject matter expertise in credit card industry trends and compliance. Serve as an internal compliance resource, collaborating with teams on product changes and new initiatives.
  • Ability to write, edit, and copy edit multiple styles of content. Contribute site content, including writing new content, peer editing, and copy editing.
  • Ability to multitask, work within multiple workflows and content management systems.
  • Complete site production tasks, including updating content, archiving old content and publishing new content.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics to pull site performance reports and use data to target site updates.
  • At least 2 years of editing/writing experience in digital media or related fields.
  • An interest in personal finance, credit cards and helping shoppers save time and money.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work and communicate collaboratively.
  • At least a BA in English, communications, marketing or related.
