Everyday Health Group’s Professional Division is currently seeking a Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis of the organization. This includes involvement in growth strategies and recommending operating improvements.

You will partner with business leaders to identify and interpret issues/opportunities. You will act as a financial expert on cross-functional teams to build and prepare models, review and challenge business assumptions and quantify the costs and benefits of proposed initiatives. This role will report to Everyday Health Professional’s SVP, Finance and Operations and will have direct daily exposure to the Business Unit department heads.  This role will also support the SVP, Sales with revenue analytics and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting and monthly financial forecasting
  • Manage the division’s operating and financial models
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Professional division
  • Work closely with accounting and account management to resolve revenue recognition issues
  • Lead the monthly close process with the accounting team, including review of revenue and expense accruals to ensure alignment with latest forecast
  • Understand all revenue products and track ad revenue KPIs
  • Work with the SVP, Finance & Operations in the preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in setting bottoms-up digital ad sales goals
  • Support SVP, Sales in projecting digital sales revenue performance and tracking pacing
  • Serve as a partner to the sales organization, providing insightful reporting and analysis of sales pipeline to promote sustainable growth
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly invoicing of secondary business lines and partner payment expenses


  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or related discipline required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in financial modeling and/or relevant analytical roles.
  • Ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Digital Media, preferably in a publishing environment. Experience working with healthcare/pharma clients would be helpful but not necessary.
  • Strong financial modeling skills are essential. The candidate should be expert in Microsoft Excel (strong knowledge of Macros and VBA would be a plus) and other Office applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and concepts, especially revenue recognition.
  • Highly pro-active and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to work cross-functionally and with senior business leaders
  • Collaboration is key; must be a team player with curiosity and drive and be able to forge relationships across the company
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced organization with quickly shifting priorities
  • Independent thinker and motivated self-starter with positive attitude
