Overview:

The Tax Manager will be a part of the International Tax Team that handles global tax compliance.  The successful candidate will work closely with a number of teams across the global business as well as being able to operate independently.

This individual will be exposed to all areas of tax across both the Cloud Services and Digital Media sides of the business.  The candidate will be involved in tax planning, acquisition and transactional work, tax audits, transfer pricing, and compliance.

The Tax Manager will based in the Dublin office.  The ideal candidate will have a strong tax and accounting background, strong communications skills as well as the ability to interface with multiple groups outside the tax function.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the preparation of income tax and VAT Returns in markets including Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and Canada
  • Assist with international tax planning matters and co-ordination with outside consultants and tax professionals
  • Preparation of estimated tax payments
  • Assist with local statutory and tax audits including responses to any tax authorities
  • Assisting the business development group on M&A transactions, and the integration of acquired entities
  • Working with the Legal Department to prepare and maintain intercompany agreements
  • Assist in the co-ordination of VAT / GST and other non-income tax issues
  • Assist in the preparation of Local Files in line with BEPS Action Plan 13 
Key requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant tax experience in a major accounting firm or in a multi-national business
  • University degree with advanced degree or professional qualification in accounting and/or tax preferred
  • Experience with international statutory and tax accounting issues
  • Exposure to multinational companies with issues in R&D, internet services and intellectual property areas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interface across all departments
  • Strong analytical, documentation, research and project management skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Word
  • Hands on, able to multi-task and can work independently as well as part of a team
