This key front line Senior Sales role reports into the Director of Channel Sales & Distribution and up through the Channel Sales organization. The Senior Channel Sales Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships and directly generating sales, while mentoring and training new and existing members on the Channel team. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic, high growth industry.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills both in person and virtually
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Strong phone presence and presentation skills
 Energetic with a “can-do” and “will-do”, positive attitude
 Proven track record within inside sales with a history of meeting and exceeding goals, while
assisting teammates in doing the same
 Ability to work independently and in a team environment
 Be a HUNTER
 Successful individual quota-carrying, as well as focused on driving exceptional results across
the entire Channel organization
 Responsible for all phases – onboarding at partnership, proactively contacting Partners at
strategic intervals, assisting Partners through technical support needs, and ensuring that
Partners have everything needed to successfully present and sell VIPRE products
 Setting an example for the rest of the Channel team by exceeding individual quotas and
assisting the team in exceeding theirs
 Mentoring and training both new and existing Channel employees
 Documenting organizational process and procedure changes and distributing to the team
 Acts as the Channel team SME
 Detailed-oriented, well-organized, punctual, and must be able to keep up-to-date records on
accounts and opportunities
 Entrepreneurial mindset
 Create and execute upon a detailed business development plan to enhance the business
through VIPRE channel partners to meet and exceed channel sales goals
 Penetrate and prospect targeted accounts
 Accurately manage new business pipeline daily and maintain regular contact with all open new
business opportunities with a proven ability to utilize Saleforce.com
 Ensure consistent revenue growth by driving and nurturing Partners to success
 Proactively identifying roadblocks, then provide and implement solutions
 Follow up in a timely manner on all leads
 High-Velocity outbound sales activity focused on improving win rates period over period

 Thoroughly learn the market (competitors, products, and services available)
 Other duties as assigned
 
Experience:
 Minimum 2 years prior sales experience within software industry
 Minimum 5 years of Channel experience managing partner relationships
 Familiarity with Google Workspace and web based tracking tools
 Experience working with Salesforce is highly desired
 Experience in partnering cross-functionally with internal support teams representing the
Channel organization, while taking ownership of the sales process to ensure results
 Able to quickly qualify potential customers, and identify their needs
 Proven ability to follow through and close deals
 Strong telephone presentations skills; ability to listen well and to motivate and create sales
opportunities
 Individual should be comfortable selling over the phone with responsibilities of accurate
forecasting
 Strong ability to take ownership on assigned projects and deliver results
 Strong ability to work in a team environment

Education:
 Two or Four-year college degree desired

 Google Workspace
 Salesforce – Strongly desired
 Cybersecurity Software knowledge

 Participation in, and leading web-based demonstrations
 Timely Salesforce administration
 Accurate pipeline forecasting

 Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned timeframe
 
 
Travel Requirements: 
Travel is limited but can be up to 25%
