Channel Manager
This key front line sales role, reports into the channel sales director and up through the channel sales
organization. This Channel Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships and directly generating
sales. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic, high
growth industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills both in person and virtually
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Phone presence
Energetic with a “can-do”, positive attitude
Proven track record in inside sales with a history of meeting or exceeding goals
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Successful quota-carrying experience within inside corporate sales
Detailed-oriented, well-organized, punctual, and must be able to keep up-to-date records on
accounts and opportunities
Entrepreneurial mindset
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and execute upon a detailed, business development plan to enhance the business
through the RMM channel
Penetrate and prospect targeted accounts
Accurately manage new business pipeline daily and maintain regular contact with all open new
business opportunities with a proven ability to utilize Saleforce.com
Follow up in a timely manner on all leads
High-Velocity outbound sales activity
Take the initiative to thoroughly learn the market (competitors, products, and services available)
Use knowledge of company products and services to provide end users with information and
promote product sales
Experience:
2 years prior sales experience within software industry
Min 2 years of Channel experience with a Distributor, Channel and/or RMM vendor.
Computer experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office and web based tracking tools
Experience working with Salesforce highly desired
Able to quickly qualify potential customers
Proven ability to follow through and close deals
Strong telephone presentations skills; ability to listen well and to motivate and create sales
opportunities
Individual should be comfortable selling over the phone with responsibilities of accurate
forecasting
Strong ability to work in a team environment
Education:
Two or Four-year college degree desired
Preferred Skills
•Microsoft Office
•Salesforce – strongly desired
•Cybersecurity Software knowledge - desired

Travel Requirements: limited but can be up to 25%
