Position Intro:

Humble Bundle is looking for a release manager to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end release process for games across various PC, Console, and Mobile platforms. In this position, you will work closely with external contractors and developers as well as internal Production, Marketing, Business Development, QA teams to drive each title to smooth and successful releases.

Supervision Exercised:

  • Set up and manage digital products on 1st party sites for development and release.
  • Manage build submissions for certification on all major platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam, Apple, etc.)
  • Work directly with development and production teams to coordinate submission schedules.
  • Communicate with 1st parties (Waiver requests, schedule changes, slot booking, escalation of issues, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development teams to order and distribute digital voucher codes
  • Coordinate with Creative Service team to generate assets for metadata submissions on first party storefronts
  • Register and manage online services/game features on 1st party sites for dev/test
  • Execute metadata submissions for store fronts on all major platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam, Apple, etc.)
  • Work directly with development and production teams to submit rating materials (IARC, ESRB, PEGI, IARC, etc.)
  • Work directly with Business Development and Marketing/Retail Distributors to manage and prepare game builds and packaging for retail releases

Required Experience:

  • 2 years Release Management Leadership with 1st party game platform submission experience
  • Experience with issue/bug tracking and source control software
  • Managed the release of at least one sim-shipped game across multiple platforms

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication skills with experience in external partner engagement
  • Strong record of managing multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Process improvement and development

  • Above average knowledge of indie games and related culture
