We are seeking a Campaign Manager to work with our Ad Operations team here in New York. This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of a group of Ziff Media Group’s clients' campaigns, collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Finance and Sales Planners. The ideal candidate will be a proven contributor with a passion for technology, confidence taking ownership of revenue delivery, and tremendous attention to detail. Any candidate must be a master of ad serving fundamentals and have expertise with Google ad delivery systems, as well as working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and management of digital advertising campaigns (Display, Native, Video, Mobile) from start to finish
  • Monitoring and optimizing multiple campaign executions to ensure campaigns are launching and delivering on schedule and according to client expectations
  • Reviewing ad performance relative to campaign objectives to provide optimization recommendations and increase performance for client
  • Ensuring all booked revenue is recognized while campaign objectives are consistently met or exceeded
  • Proactively investigate issues with ad delivery, assets, 3rd-party tags with internal and external parties and provide resolutions to these issues
  • Recognizing, analyzing and quickly solving discrepancies between ad servers
  • Ensuring clients and internal sales teams are receiving exceptional customer service and support
  • Participation in client campaign kick-off calls to outline ad tracking requirements and deliverables
  • Providing Finance team with reporting for monthly billing as well as providing reporting to clients
  • Assisting with various special projects as needed
  • Working with internal teams to identify and design new tools and systems to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Exceptional communication, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills as well as the capacity to manage and continually prioritize/reprioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Extensive experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM), Microsoft Excel, G-Suite,  SalesForce, etc.
  • Strong understanding of 3rd party ad tags and technologies (DCM, Sizmek, Flashtalking, etc.) as well as VAST/VPAID video standards
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, Ad Ops Tools (Firebug, Charles, etc.), Video Technologies and Rich Media (High Impact Units) as they apply to Digital Ad Operations
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing beyond delivery for click rate, conversions, ROAS, CPA/CPL,  eCPC, etc.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Superior verbal & written communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible, personable attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile
  • Dedication to quality, accuracy, and 100% accountability
  • Strong desire to grow with company and learn new skills
  • 3+ years of digital ad trafficking/campaign management experience
  • Must reside in the New York Metro Area
