We are seeking a high performing, innovative, results-oriented and customer-obsessed Global Business Analyst to own reporting and data analysis for the Global Voice team across multiple brands and regions.  Owning your results, you will thrive in rolling up your sleeves and leading by example, intuitively taking a creative approach to getting the most from what you have available to achieve exceptional results.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Voice Marketing, this is an exciting role for the right candidate who enjoys pushing against the status quo. As a key member of the Global Voice Marketing team, you will help us shape & drive decision making for our B2C and B2B Voice cloud services business across multiple channels and geographies.

This position is located in Dublin

 Role & Responsibilities:

You will lead the development, operations and execution of data analytics and reporting across the global footprint. Your key responsibilities include:   


  • Data management
  • Drive data capture and data integrity requirements. Partner with IT BI, web development, salesforce team & FP&A team to ensure the right data is captured and delivered at the right time
  • Develop, gather and clean all needed customer, channel and competitive data and analyses from ad servers, media partners, and other platforms
  • Perform Data steward activities, to ensure accurate information is available, including audit processes to reconcile the data with multiple sources and validate the accuracy.


  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Work with business unit management and internal FP&A teams to assist in the preparation of annual budgets (inc. revenue, acquisition, retention and marketing spend) including monthly & quarterly rolling forecasts.
  • Analyze data to identify current and future predictive trending including the review of historical trends, expense assumptions and performance of ongoing marketing and sales programs
  • Use data analysis to make recommendations of media budget allocations based on findings


  • Performance reporting for key customer acquisition and retention KPI’s
  • Partner with FP&A, product management and internal marketing stakeholders  to evaluate key customer and business metrics and recommending ways to improve key drivers such as conversion, retention, lifetime value ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Deliver commercial insights to the business using the appropriate analytical approach, metrics and data to continuously improve decision making and proactively influencing key decision makers
  • Manage, automate and continuously improve dashboards and ongoing reporting of key performance indicators across multiple product lines and geographies.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and data investigation/ discovery to identify and/or explain business and marketing trends or anomalies to assist with decision making


  • Campaign performance
  • Provide strategic reporting, analysis, and support optimization projects that drive marketing campaign return on investment
  • Partner closely with acquisition/retention and marketing operations teams to surface key insights and learnings to inform marketing initiatives and help maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing spend.
  • Monitor advanced digital, email, social, behavioural and account-based marketing campaigns and recommend optimizations


  • Base analysis
  • Identify high-value audiences and data within the customer database for targeted campaigns
  • Query and manipulate large data sets to create customer profiles/segments and measure the effectiveness of various initiatives, and growing market share among those segments


About you:

  • To succeed in this role you are a creative & inquisitive data-centric mindset, with an understanding of marketing, strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Have the ability to think creatively and critically, identify trends, unreasonable results and have a well-tuned sense of scepticism
  • Have experience manipulating large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL, strong working knowledge of analytical and data visualisation tools, such as Python, R, Tableau & Domo
  • Have a good understanding of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Architecture, Data standards, etc

Job Requirements and Experience:

Candidates must be experienced marketers with a proven track record of success. Interested candidates should possess:

4+ years’ experience in reporting and data analytics, including experience in budgeting and forecasting, preferably in a fast-paced, high volume web, ecommerce or software service environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math or Accounting preferred
  • Must have experience analyzing large sets of data and the ability to proactively identify issues, generate analytical insights and present action-oriented recommendations
  • Must have superior Excel skills and have fluency in spreadsheet creation and manipulation
  • Business Objects IX
  • MS Access (including query-writing)
  • Using/Referencing MYSQL and/or Oracle back, MS Sql Server backends
  • Google Analytics
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Python, R, Tableau & Domo
