Health eCareers is looking for a UX Researcher to join a growing product team tasked with providing the best experience for customers. As part of the product group, you will partner with UX designers, product managers, data analysts, developers, etc, to answer the many challenging questions in creating products and experiences our customers love.

We are looking for an experienced user researcher to join our team. As a UX researcher at our company, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and forming product improvements and features. Your average day will consist of designing/implementing tests, conducting interviews, analyzing data, reporting insights and providing recommendations for our products. A key aspect we are looking for is someone who can understand our users in an unbiased manner and synthesize this understanding into intelligible insights for the product team as well as the larger organization. 

A successful candidate will be first and foremost focused on our users. They will also be analytical, strategic, communicative, resourceful, creative, team-oriented, and have the ability to work independently under time constraints and evolving business needs to meet deadlines.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with digital product owners and designers to determine their needs, make appropriate recommendations and craft research plans that align with brand and product strategy
  • Manage user experience research and usability testing projects for consumer-facing products during all phases of design and development
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to help inform UX and design direction and solve issues
  • Manage all research preparations including the recruiting and screening of participants and scheduling of sessions
  • Analyze and synthesize learning and develop actionable recommendations
  • Create clear and impactful deliverables using a variety of appropriate formats; share learning with stakeholders


  • 2-3 years minimum prior experience as a UX researcher, leading and conducting user research studies, including usability test, conceptual testing, ethnography, and more
  • Degree in HCI, human factors, statistics, anthropology, sociology, cognitive psychology, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of UX best practices, including website information architecture, interactive design principles, usability, service design, and online marketing and business needs
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously
  • Possess strong user-observation skills, ability to understand and apply user-centered design best practices and techniques
  • Portfolio, case studies, or examples of conducted research with resulting conclusions and recommendations
  • Attention to detail, ability to communicate well on paper and verbally to a variety of stakeholders
  • Team oriented, energetic, innovative, and self-motivated
  • Familiarity or experience with remote usability, indirect usability, and mobile testing a bonus
  • Experience with Data Science and Statistics is a huge plus
