OVERVIEW
iTech AG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of a critical program. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for government representatives, overseeing project management activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving the success of the program objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to innovative IT modernization initiatives within the federal government.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary liaison between iTech AG and government stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and promptly addressing inquiries
- Oversee and manage the execution of the project in alignment with the contract objectives, ensuring adherence to Agile/DevSecOps methodologies
- Coordinate and facilitate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables across diverse teams, maintaining clear organizational lines of authority
- Develop and maintain project milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables as defined in the PWS
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to consistently deliver high-quality services and solutions
- Manage subcontractor performance, if applicable, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and government requirements
- Address risks, issues, and resource needs proactively to maintain project alignment with objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with GSA's mission of modernizing and transforming its application portfolio
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience leading and managing software development projects, with a focus on Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of DevSecOps practices
- Proven ability to manage project tasks and coordinate teams with various skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Industry certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent
- Relevant certifications in Agile/DevOps and Cloud Architecture are highly desirable
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience managing federal government IT modernization projects
- Expertise in the implementation of enterprise-level cloud-ready solutions
- Strong working knowledge of GSA's Cloud Smart policies and Agile/DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile project management platforms
- Familiarity with the GSA's IT modernization strategy, including shared services, data integration, and performance monitoring
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Background Investigation clearance before the commencement of duties.
