OVERVIEW
iTech AG seeks an experienced and dynamic professional to lead federal business development and capture management efforts. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who can successfully promote our offerings and solutions, win competitive pursuits, and position iTech AG as a leader in the federal IT consulting space. This position is based in the DC Metro area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning and delivering IT and strategic consulting services to federal agencies and will be responsible for driving growth and achieving company goals through the duties defined below.
The Capture Manager will be pivotal in expanding iTech AG’s Integration Services Portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, managing capture processes for federal and commercial bids, and driving the company's strategic growth. This role requires a blend of business development acumen, capture management expertise, and strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the growth portfolio in all aspects of capture, including identifying decision makers, understanding customer funding, incumbent status, past performance, etc.
- Help drive qualification of opportunities through research, presentation prep, coordination across iTech AG related to contracts and pricing, and technical team for early assessment of opportunities.
- Assist iTech AG with maintaining accuracy in pipeline metrics and monitor various business intelligence tools (e.g. Govwin, Govtribe, HigherGov, etc.) for changes.
- Help develop complete and maintain a comprehensive sales/capture plan to track activity and for use at required gate reviews.
- Perform research and participate in interviews to gather and document information related to customer technical and management hot buttons and pain points.
Monitor opportunities on federal portals (GWACS such as GSA MAS, OASIS, HCATS, eFAST, SEAPORT-NXG, STARS III, etc.) for new opportunities, market research updates, amendments, or announcements.
- Identify and form relationships with current and potential government customers, Industry, and iTech AG partners, that result in positive awareness of iTech AG, our capabilities, and our culture.
- Represent iTech AG at relevant industry networking events, conferences, and other occasions where current or potential clients, customer stakeholders, or partners may be present. Promote attendance and activity through relevant social media (e.g. LinkedIn) working cohesively with iTech AG’s Marketing and Communications Team
- Work within iTech AG and across our teammates to find strengths for our solutions and proposals. Also, work with senior leadership, as assigned, to coordinate aspects of a capture related to teaming, e.g. Non-disclosure Agreements, teaming agreements, meeting cadence, and Capture Kickoff preparation.
- Help identify program incumbents and key personnel for iTech AG’s top opportunities.
- Work closely with the Technical Team and Proposal Team through the final stages of Capture to ensure full handoff of an opportunity following the release of an RFP. Write and/or edit technical content and proposal material to emphasize win themes, customer understanding, and benefits of the RIVA approach. Help author content for RFIs as needed/directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited university or college (Associate's degree accepted with additional years of experience).
- 2-4 years of experience supporting federal contract programs or sales – including billable work supporting a client. Experience in federal health IT is greatly preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- 1-2 years of FedCiv and/or FedHealth IT services experience as a contractor or government employee.
- Ability to learn quickly, including technical and financial topics.
- Familiarity and experience using other CRM systems for pipeline and opportunity management, Slack, and the standard Microsoft Suite of Tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as business intelligence tools (e.g. Deltek Govwin, Govtribe, Highergov, BGov, etc.).
- Experience with Shipley-like capture and proposal processes
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- BS/BA in Systems, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance if required.
- Pursuant to government contracts, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
