OVERVIEW
 
iTech AG is looking for a Business Analyst /Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Specialist. The BA/BPR Specialist will be responsible for business process reengineering including the distillation of customer ideas into both as-is and to-be workflows and process recommendations and delivering ideas and recommendations as well as achieving buy-in for the fundamental redesign of core business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in productivity, cycle times, and quality.  
 
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Responsible for business process reengineering including distillation of customer ideas into both as-is and to-be workflows and process recommendations.
  • Work with customers or end users to gather requirements and document issues including leadership in small or medium-sized groups.
  • Deliver ideas and recommendations as well as achieve buy-in for a fundamental redesign of core business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in productivity, cycle times, and quality.
  • Rethink existing processes to deliver more value to the customer.
  • Support the review of "strategic demands", which identifies and documents the future capabilities required to enact the agency’s vision and mission.
  • Responsible for documenting the business processes alignment with the IT modernization efforts.
  • Creates and refines complete user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Participates in Agile ceremonies.
  • Tests functionality to verify requirements.
  • Synthesize ideas into high-level graphics and documents that will be used to brief business stakeholders and senior executives including PowerPoint and Word business cases.
  • Elicit Business Requirements, writing user stories, and producing Business Cases.
  • Work with IT management, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business. 
  • Responsible for helping the government transition from outdated and under-utilized processes and technologies to high-volume transactional processes in a paperless future state, through multiple product offerings including demand management, case management, document management, and data exchanges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • 4+ years with demonstrable experience working with customers or end users to gather requirements and document issues including leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience gathering and creating Business Requirements, Lean Business Cases, and Functional Requirement documents; researching and documenting Analysis of Alternatives.
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating business stakeholder meetings and JAD sessions; engagement with technical teams on requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience mapping business processes (BPMN); creating As-Is and To-Be process maps.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience supporting Federal government programs.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
 
EDUCATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, or a related field.
 
PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS
 
  • Lean Six Sigma experience and certification.
  • Experience working in an Agile team or SAFe environment.
  • Scaled Agile (SAFe), ScrumMaster, or Product Owner certification(s).
  • Existing or previous Public Trust Clearance.
 
 
SECURITY CLEARANCE
 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
