ISP Extracurricular Activities Coord. Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

At TAE we are a comprehensive school that offers a variety of afterschool activities and clubs known as TAE Plus. The Extracurricular Activities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, supervision, and quality of extracurricular programs, fostering student development, school spirit, and community engagement.

ISP Extracurricular Activities Coordinator Key Responsibilities

•  Supervise that workshop teachers record attendance for both students and staff.

•  Monitor the quality of extracurricular classes and ensure they align with the school’s standards.

•  Propose and implement new clubs for each school section to diversify student opportunities.

•  Evaluate and select high-quality external providers for extracurricular programs.

•  Maintain clear, assertive, and proactive communication with parents regarding extracurricular activities.

•  Collaborate with the finance/cashier team to manage payments related to TAE Plus clubs.

•  Coordinate with counterparts in sister schools for interschool tournaments in football, basketball, and volleyball.

•  Manage the school’s sports equipment, ensuring functionality, proper use, and availability.

•  Request purchase of new materials or replacements when necessary.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Skills

•  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, Administration, or related field (preferred).

•  Previous experience in extracurricular coordination, student activities, or similar roles.

•  Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

•  Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external providers.

•  Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.

•  Knowledge of sports management and extracurricular programming.

•  Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or license as required by school or regional regulations.
  • Knowledge of tournaments standards and competency-based teaching methods.
  • Training in safeguarding, child protection, and classroom safety.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (for bilingual or international schools, if applicable).

 

Experience

  • Experience designing and delivering lesson plans, projects, and assessments.
  • Familiarity with preparing students for standardized tests and academic competitions.
  • Experience using digital tools and technology to enhance learning.
  • Track record of supporting diverse learners and differentiating instruction.
  • Participation in curriculum development, school projects, or professional development initiatives.
