Purpose of Role
The Facilities Administrator is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and safety of the school’s facilities and infrastructure. This role supports a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors by coordinating maintenance services, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and institutional standards.

ISP Facilities Administrator Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of school facilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general infrastructure systems.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including emergency and risk-prevention protocols.
- Supervise cleaning, security, and maintenance staff, ensuring service standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify repair needs and safety risks.
- Manage inventories of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Support space planning, classroom setup, and logistics for school events and activities.
- Collaborate with leadership and administrative teams on facilities planning and improvement projects.
- Monitor and control facilities-related budgets and expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contracts, and inspections.
- Purchases for the payment of all services and materials needed for the school.
- Ensure facilities support safeguarding policies and student well-being.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations.
- Certifications in safety, facilities management, or project management are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facilities administration or building management.
- Experience in an educational, corporate, or service-oriented environment preferred.
- Proven experience managing vendors, maintenance teams, and service contracts.
- Experience handling budgets and operational planning.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
