ISP After School Coordinator Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

Responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of extracurricular programs and activities. He or she will act as a liaison between parents and all students at the school, as well as with his or her staff and all management and administrative staff to coordinate the school's activities.

ISP After School Coordinator Key Responsibilities

- Lead the After School Faculty Team

- Create and coordinate after school activities and programs

- Create and coordinate the Summer Camp

- Ensure that after school club classes are delivered on time and in accordance with the established parameters for each activity, ensuring high-quality classes.

- Propose new clubs and maintain a range of after school clubs based on the needs of the student body, offering students a variety of options.

- Provide extracurricular activities for all grade levels.

- Prepare and plan the after school budget in coordination with the finance department.

- If an activity requires an external provider, ensure that it is the best option in terms of quality and cost.

- In the case of external providers, the After School Coordinator will be responsible for forwarding the files of the individuals who will be working with the school to the Human Resources department (current official identification, criminal record report). The Human Resources department will be responsible for providing the safeguarding training to the external providers.

- Maintain assertive, clear, and early communication with parents, addressing their relevant needs.

- Responsible for registering teams for tournaments, sports leagues, etc.

- Responsible for maintaining ongoing contact with sports leagues and associations, always seeking to innovate and create new challenges for our students.

- Report team incidents to the Human Resources department every two weeks.

- Work with the finance department to ensure timely payments for tournaments, leagues, refereeing, and the purchase of sports materials and equipment.

- Responsible for managing the entire administrative process to ensure the purchases and equipment required for various after-school activities.

- Organize interscholastic tournaments and sporting events with sister schools, part of ISP, to foster and continue fostering sportsmanship in our student community.

- Maintain control over the sports equipment inventory.

- Design, together with the Marketing department, advertising campaigns and/or circulars and communications sent to parents.

- Any other activity inherent to the position.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Administration, or any other degree related to Sports Administration.

• Master's degree in a sports discipline or Sports Administration and/or Management is desirable.

 

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position, including team management.

• Experience in the Education Sector.
