ISP Extracurricular Activities General Coordinator Role Profile

 

Purpose of Role

The Extracurricular Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all extracurricular and after-school programs across school sections. This role ensures high-quality activities that promote students’ personal, social, and physical development. The coordinator oversees attendance, monitors staff and vendor performance, fosters communication with families, and collaborates with other schools to organize interschool tournaments and events.

ISP Extracurricular Activities Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate extracurricular activities across all school sections.

Monitor attendance of instructors and students in all after-school programs.

Ensure that extracurricular classes and clubs maintain high academic and recreational standards.

Propose and develop new clubs or activities based on student interests and school objectives.

Evaluate and ensure the quality of external providers and instructors.

Maintain clear, assertive, and timely communication with parents regarding activities, schedules, and student progress.

Work closely with the Finance Department to manage payments and budgets related to extracurricular programs.

Coordinate with peer schools to organize and participate in interschool tournaments, including football, basketball, and volleyball.

Manage, maintain, and control school sports equipment and materials, ensuring availability and proper use.

Request purchases or repairs of materials and equipment when necessary.

Prepare regular reports on club performance, participation, and improvement opportunities..

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, Administration, or a related field.

Specialized training or certification in extracurricular or recreational program management is desirable.

Fluency in English preferred.

 

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating extracurricular or after-school programs.

Experience in managing teams and external providers.

Background in organizing sports events, tournaments, or cultural activities.

Proven ability to handle parent communication and administrative coordination effectively.
