We are looking for an experienced Facilities Assistant to join our International Primary Section to help us guide the school and work with our colleagues to take us to the next level. If you want to be part of our team you will need to be passionate about learning and knowledgeable about the factors that affect learning.

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE, and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes almost 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years, and from 38 nationalities. The international school has 1200 students. The Role
We are looking for someone who:
- To inspect water tank level, pump house, pump set, packing seals, float switch, piping systems, the water distribution system and water leakage, breakdown and conditions of pipes and tanks daily.
- Ensure all school building’s facilities and equipment are regularly maintained and air-con units serviced during school term break.
- Report any potential problems/hazards to the superior and take remedial action immediately.
- Setting up facilities and venues for events, school activities, or exams.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Documentation of building inspection schedules/contractor work.
- To undertake handy-person duties as directed by the facility manager i.e. painting and decorating, maintenance of all M & E items including aircon servicing, plumbing, piping, etc.
- Assists in operations and maintenance issues, troubleshooting, and problem-solving as required
- Carry out installation, maintenance, repair, operation, and periodic testing of the electrical system and all types of lighting installation.
- Check, trace and rectify breakdown faults on the fire alarm system, air – conditioning system, domestic water supply, Plumbing, Piping, electrical pumps set and lighting &, etc.
- Record daily and monthly main electricity & water reading and submit it to the maintenance supervisor or facility manager on weekly basis and attend to water sub-meter & electricity reading every month.

This is a two-year contract with an option to renew at the end. Benefits include:
