Purpose of Role

Drive the CAS curriculum and academic goals by guiding CAS teachers, overseeing programme implementation, and ensuring high-quality, relevant, and engaging experiences for students. Manage CAS operations, student support, and staff/resources so that cultural events, competitions, and day-to-day CAS activities run smoothly and contribute meaningfully to students’ holistic development.

Role Definition

A frontline Leader for the CAS programs (Dance, Music, Arts and Drama) with the responsibility of driving the Academic Goals to the students and taking care of their co-curricular aspirations and needs.

Delivering the Curriculum Academic Operations Student Support People and Resource Management

Tasks & Activities

Delivering the Curriculum In charge of curriculum implementation as per directions of the Principal. Plan and understand the devised curriculum and the academic goals. Convert or cascade the same to practical actionable items for the teachers to deliver. Conduct regular collaborative meetings, stay backs to monitor and ascertain the progress made. Actively contribute to the Curriculum planning by gathering intelligence and feedbacks and create a database and evidences that will help support to provide a feedback to the Principal and CAS team in designing and implementing a relevant, challenging and rigorous curriculum. Operational In charge Liaise with teachers in formation of daily timetable. Ensure that the Teachers and the students are present and punctual for the day, timetable is being followed and substitution is put in place for absentees. Assist Principal in preparing the school dairy events, holidays, teacher records, report cards and other academic records. Ensure the school happenings are in progress as per the rules laid down and Report to the Principal on regular basis. Ensuring that the campus language, reminder system, disciplinary policy, culture and ethos are followed. Responsible for organising and conducting cultural events involving CAS programs in collaboration and discussion with Principal. Responsible in preparing event budget forms in collaboration with Principal and submit for the approval to the management. Supporting the STUDENTS Being accountable for the academic, social and emotional well‐being of children under your purview Track student progress, set systems in place to identify the gaps and provide a support. Ensure each child is given attention and given equal opportunity to perform. Encourage students to give feedback on their academic needs and try to support it with the help the teacher. People Management & Resource Management Assist the HR / Principal in recruiting and training the faculty Identify the Training Needs for each staff, communicate the same to Principal /PDC and ensure the particular teacher is attending the same. Always ensure the team is always up-to-date, trained and working at optimal level. Ensure that the resources and facilities provided by the school are used and not lying ideal.  Ensure care and respect in using and maintaining these resources. Safety, health and hygiene of staffs and students are prime importance. Always be on looking for factor disturbing these and take or provide assistance to Facility /Admin Department in clearing the disturbances Without the approval of Principal, no student work should be shared in social media

Staff Retention at 90% 100% Staff Training as per Training Policy (training log and attendance for training) 100% Adherence to Punctuality and Working hours policy Every Student should have his/her Individual Student Portfolio for CAS (Grades 1 to 5)and to be shared with parents in January in a digital format template Minimum 2 class observation of each teacher i between June to November and submit the observation report to Principal Participate in Minimum 4 Interschool Competitions covering at least one in every area of CAS Effective coordination and conduction of cultural events. Ensure the planner templates are followed for planning and implementation of the curriculum. Budget to be submitted prior to any event and approvals sought at least 7 working days in advance
