Digital Content Editor – iSP’s School Website Harmony Project

Purpose of the role
The Digital Content Editor plays an essential role in the International Schools Partnership’s (iSP) School Website Harmony Project. This transformative initiative unifies the digital presence of all iSP schools onto a shared ecosystem and enhanced messaging framework.
The Content Editor ensures that mapped content from each school is refined, consistent, and carefully balanced to align with both iSP’s core offer and each school’s unique identity. The role will manage the content journey from start to finish, collaborating closely with schools to ensure a smooth onboarding process, addressing any content gaps, and delivering a cohesive online experience that feels both unified and authentically representative of each school for families worldwide.

Key responsibilities – Digital Content Editor- Content creation, refinement and brand alignment
- Refine and develop content that balances each school’s distinct personality with iSP’s framework and core educational offer, ensuring a cohesive narrative that resonates with prospective families.
- Work within pre-defined content modules to maintain consistency in structure, creating a unified yet personalised voice for each school.
- Identify and fill content gaps, collaborating with school representatives to ensure a comprehensive presentation of the school’s strengths and offerings.
- School onboarding and content collaboration
- Lead schools through the content onboarding process, reviewing and enhancing mapped content to ensure that each school’s story aligns with iSP’s values while preserving its unique character.
- Conduct strategic discussions with schools to capture their specific needs, unique qualities, and any new directions, bringing their personality forward within iSP’s messaging framework.
- Maintain consistent communication with school contacts, adjusting content based on feedback and keeping the school’s identity front and centre
- Project management and data-driven updates
- Leverage insights from Google Analytics, Looker Studio dashboards, and search behaviour data to inform and update content, ensuring ongoing relevance and impact.
- Update the project’s internal mini-site to share transparent project updates, key findings and milestones, positioning it as a resource for schools and stakeholders
- Quality control and consistency
- Edit and review content to ensure it aligns with both iSP standards and the school’s identity, following SEO best practices to enhance visibility.
- Conduct quality checks to confirm accuracy, engagement, and balance in representing both iSP’s core value and each school’s unique story.

- Ability to balance user needs with objectives, crafting content that is both engaging and strategically aligned.
- Experience with user experience (UX) principles and how content influences user engagement.
- Quick learner with adaptability
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new frameworks and content guidelines (training on the iSP brand, framework, offer and core content will be provided).
- Adaptable to changing project needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective collaboration and communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills to gather information from various stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesise diverse inputs into cohesive and engaging content.
- Strong communication skills to articulate content strategies and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high editorial standards and content accuracy.
- Education and experience
- Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation, editing, or a similar role.
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to inform content updates and improve engagement.
- Experience working with international organisations is an advantage.
