Engineering/Design United States

Description

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking a SaaS Integration & Automation Engineer to join our Team

in Palo Alto, CA

Onsite Contract Opportunity

***Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.***

Summary:

Our Overseas IT team builds internal platforms that keep the company's SaaS stack running. The work is software automation end to end — develop, customize, verify, test, deploy. You'll spend most of your time building (~70%) and the rest making sure what ships actually works (~30%).

It's a contract role, onsite at our Palo Alto office. It suits someone who likes owning a problem end to end — write the integration, write the tests, ship it, keep it honest.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop - build integrations with enterprise SaaS platforms (Microsoft 365, Slack, Google Workspace, Jira/Confluence, Notion, Zoom, Miro) using REST APIs, SCIM and OAuth 2.0
  • Develop - build internal Software Asset Management (SAM) services: subscriptions, licenses, user provisioning/deprovisioning, account lifecycle
  • Develop - design and maintain relational schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB) for users, licenses, audit records, roles and permissions
  • Develop - write Python automation and ETL pipelines that collect, normalize and sync user, license and activity data
  • Develop - build automated individual and batch provisioning/deprovisioning workflows with job tracking, audit logging, error handling and reconciliation
  • Customize - tailor SaaS workflows, templates and internal tooling to each team's requirements
  • Customize - improve RBAC/ABAC access control and build dashboards on license utilization, user activity and operational metrics
  • Verify & test - write test plans and automated coverage for integrations, provisioning workflows and dashboards; keep regression running in CI
  • Deploy - ship to dev, UAT and production; troubleshoot API, database, authentication and deployment issues
  • Work with IT operations, infrastructure, security and application owners to automate away manual processes

Qualifications:

  • Solid fundamentals in both development and testing
  • Strong Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON and OAuth 2.0 integrations
  • Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB)
  • You write tests and know at least one automation framework (pytest with API testing, Playwright, Cypress or similar)
  • Git and standard development workflows
  • Clear written English, documentation and defect reports included

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Nginx, CI/CD
  • Enterprise SaaS integrations or SAM experience
  • Microsoft Graph API, Slack APIs, Google Admin SDK, SCIM, or similar enterprise APIs
  • TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern web framework (React, Next.js)
  • RBAC/ABAC, provisioning, audit logging, async job processing
  • Power BI, Grafana, Superset or similar reporting tools
  • Bilingual in Chinese is preferred.

**Tech stack: ** Python · SQL · TypeScript · PostgreSQL · MySQL/MariaDB · REST APIs · OAuth 2.0 · SCIM · Next.js · Docker · Kubernetes · Git

Primary Location Pay Range: $38 - $44 per hour
