Position Overview
As a Senior Consultant – Technology Benchmarking & Value Optimisation, you’ll operate at the intersection of data, technology, and business transformation. You’ll lead client engagements, deliver data-driven insights, and help organisations shape future-ready technology strategies. You’ll also play a role in shaping the future of benchmarking itself - contributing to automation initiatives and helping our clients navigate emerging domains like AI, quantum computing, cloud, and next-gen networks.
This role is ideal for a consultant with sharp analytical instincts and the ability to tell clear, strategic stories - turning data into insight and insight into action.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements and workstreams focused on technology cost and value benchmarking across IT, applications, and infrastructure.
- Perform detailed data analysis and develop insights that link cost optimisation with innovation and business enablement.
- Use ISG’s proprietary benchmarking tools (e.g., ProBenchmark) and Excel-based models to analyze market services, operational costs, and pricing structures.
- Translate complex data into compelling stories and recommendations that resonate with business and technology leaders.
- Manage client relationships independently, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering with confidence, clarity, and integrity.
- Contribute to the ongoing automation and modernisation of ISG’s benchmarking methodologies, including AI-enabled analysis and tooling initiatives.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to share best practices, develop intellectual property, and expand ISG’s benchmarking capabilities.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, embodying ISG’s values of Trust, Passion, Integrity, and Mentorship.
- Support practice development activities, including thought leadership, proposal development, and internal knowledge sharing.
Must have:
- 5 years+ of professional experience in a comparable position in the consulting or service industry.
- 5 years+ delivery management experience, including managing projects/products and teams, successful client relationship management, and multi-project/product oversight.
- Broad IT solution, sourcing and architecture competence especially in IT transformation and/or cloud migration.
- Experience in large system integration projects from consulting organizations.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
- Business development and practice development experience.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge with MS-Office suite of software applications and tools, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, MS-Outlook.
- ITIL Foundation V4 Qualification desirable
- Language requirements:
- French: native-level proficiency (C2)
- English: fluent proficiency (minimum C1)
Education:
- Master degree in a technical or scientific or business field (Ecole d’Ingénieur or Ecole de Commerce)
- MBA/MS or other advanced degree(s)
Place :
- Job based in Boulogne-Billancourt, with up to 2 days per week of home working
- Up to 25% - 50% travel required
