Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Training as a Service (TaaS) to lead a team in delivering innovative learning solutions and digital adoption strategies.
You will lead an instructional design team to deliver impactful, role-based learning and systems training for clients. Using adult learning principles and tools like SAP Enable Now and Articulate Storyline, you'll create engaging, effective learning & e-learning experiences.
On the Digital Adoption front, you'll help organizations accelerate platform adoption, streamline onboarding, and drive change management. Leveraging tools like WalkMe, you'll build interactive walkthroughs, optimize workflows, and provide actionable insights through analytics. Exposure to Agentic AI and leveraging it for Instructional designing purposes is highly desirable
 
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design (ID)
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analyses to define robust, role-based training curricula aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and guide the team in end-to-end lifecycle of course development using blended modalities (WBT, ILT, VILT, simulations, quick reference guides).
  • Apply adult learning methodologies and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Merrill’s Principles) to ensure engaging and impactful training experiences.
  • Ensure the team maintains quality and consistency of deliverables across multiple platforms and tools (Articulate Storyline, SAP Enable Now, Captivate, etc.).
Digital Adoption (DAP)
  • Design and implement WalkMe walkthroughs, tooltips, and in-app support to accelerate user adoption of enterprise platforms (SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
  • Use DAP analytics to track adoption trends, optimize workflows, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop integrated strategies combining traditional training and DAP tools to support onboarding, change management, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for digital adoption, mentoring team members and educating clients in best practices.
People & Project Management
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Instructional Designers and Training Developers, fostering growth and high performance.
  • Apply coaching and feedback frameworks (e.g., GROW, STAR) to support career development and succession planning.
  • Upskill the team on ID, Consulting and DAP tools to enhance individual and the teams capabilities
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and quality oversight on team outputs.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (clients, SMEs, leadership) to align project goals and deliver measurable business impact.
 
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years in Instructional Design, with at least 4 years in a team leadership/AM role.
    Proven hands-on experience with WalkMe and/or other DAP platforms (e.g., SAP Enable Now, Assima, uPerform). WalkMe Builder II or SEN certified resources will be preferred.
  • Strong grasp of adult learning principles, blended learning models, and rapid authoring tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing ID/DAP teams and client-facing training projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Work in North American shifts due to global project requirements.
